Sean Connery Era Tuxedo Navy Blue Bespoke Dr. No Shawl Collar Savile Row Size 42.  Very nice gently used condition.  Done in a medium weight worsted wool.  The navy is very dark navy.  This elegant navy blue tuxedo is dated 1955 and made by Bailey & Weatherill Regent Street London. These are the tailors who designed many of the suits for The Avengers. Shawl collar single breasted one button jacket with pockets at the hips and no vent back. Matching trousers have a pleated front with black grosgrain trim. Shirt and bow tie not included.
Pictures do not do this suit justice.  It was difficult to capture the very dark navy blue color as it keeps showing up as black.  I have done some lightening and brightening to try to show detail. There is no size tag as this was a custom made piece in London in the 1950's, please go by measurements.
Jacket measures 21" from underarm to underarm for a size 42, sleeves are 24" top of shoulder to end of wrist and total length is 32" rear back top of collar to end of jacket. The matching trousers measure 17" waist lying flat for a 34" waist.  Inseam is 32" from center of crotch end of leg.  There is approximately 2" of hem allowance if these need to be let down a bit.
