Consolidated Phoenix glass Reverse Green Satin Finish Olive Pattern 9" bowl

Description

A raised olive tree branch design flows around this vintage minty green finished deep bowl by the Phoenix Glass co. Layers of olive bunches, branches and leaves overlap each other throughout.
Phoenix Glass Co. is located in Monaca, PA. Phoenix began production of art glass in 1932 when 45 to 50 molds from the Consolidated Glass Co. were moved to Phoenix and used until early 1936. This occurred because Consolidated Glass Co. had been forced to shut down due to the Great Depression.
This particular bowl is smooth on the inside and the raised cameo imagery on the outside can be seen through the bowl window. The bowlhas a flat bottom and tapered sides with a lovely mint green finish on the underside. The green color does vary somewhat in saturation. The cameo glass pattern design is attributed to Phoenix/Consolidated. The bowl is heavy with a thick glass wall. Some casting seam lines can be seen. The bowl has an 8 3/4 inch diameter and stands 3 1/4 inches tall.
This piece is in wonderful vintage condition but does have some minor flaws, glass bubbles and factory imperfections. There may be
other minor antique surface age wear
