You are buying this absolutely wonderful crystal salad set with 12” Inch center/salad bowl and eight 7-1/2” Inch plates. Each piece features deep etched seal of the United States Senate and signature of legendary Senator Thomas Henry Kuchel. He served as a moderate Republican representing the state of California from 1953 to 1969.  He served as minority whip for 10 years and was influential in supporting civil rights legislation in the 1960s. This is very rare set…we have not found another available anywhere at this time. This set will make a fantastic gift for you or a loved one.
Set is in excellent (near mint) condition with no breaks, chips, cracks or repair. Note that a few plates have a very slight surface scratch…no apparent sign of usage scratches.
The bowl and plates wall thicknesses are approximately 3/16” inch and 1/8
”
inch respectively. We have considered all and priced set very reasonably based on condition and rarity. You will love it!
