PHOENIX DRAPE pattern - Enamel & Gold Decorated - PEACOCK Blue - Victorian Art Glass 6 piece WATER or Lemonade SET - Pitcher & 5 matching Tumblers - circa 1890's This set features a variation of the classic "Phoenix Drape" pattern - decorated panels alternate with sections of double "drape". The decoration is hand painted with a white enamel feather in the center accented with tiny pink flowers, green leaves in the background and fancy gold scrolls. Each section and each rim is outlined in gold. The square top and ribbed handle on the pitcher are distinctive elements of the Phoenix Art Glass "New England" shape. Measurements: Pitcher - 8.5" tall, 7" wide overall, will hold 64 ounces filled to the base of the neck. Tumblers - 3.75" tall, 2.25" wide base, 2.75" wide mouth, will hold 8 ounces filled to the brim.
