Vintage Art Deco Phoenix Consolidated Martele Line Blue Cockatoo Glass Vase

Offered for sale is a stunning antique Art Deco era glass vase manufactured by the Phoenix Consolidated Glass Co. during the 1930s.  The vase is from their Martele line and it is in the Cockatoo pattern. The vase is made of a cream colored satin glass with embossed pattern details on the exterior featuring blue colored cockatoo birds among thorny brambles with berries. The vase has a bulbous form measuring about 10" in diameter across its widest point, and overall it stands approximately 9" tall.
The overall condition of the vase is excellent.  It is extremely clean with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  I feel no fleabites, nicks, or grinding on the top rim and there is only minimal rubbing to the base.  The color is very nice and the interior is quite clean with minor signs of use. You can expect to find the typical flaws of older glass to include airbubbles, strawmarks, inclusions, minor imperfections, etc.   Please be sure to check out my other auctions for more great items!
