Vintage Political Sticker
Original Vintage Political Sticker measures approximately 2-1/2" x 3".  The Navy Blue, Red/Orange and White Sticker reads as follows:

Metzenbaum for Senate
The slogan was meant to link the candidate - in the mind of the voter - with the 1969 World Series Champions "Miracle Mets".
The Howard Metzenbaum Sticker is likely dated circa 1970 when the candidate first ran for the United States Senate from Ohio under the Democrat Party banner, and is in Excellent Unused Condition.  The backing paper covering the adhesive surface on the reverse side of the sticker remains in place.  Please see accompanying photograph.
